Moffat got a chance to speak to some St. Andrews rugby players out on the pitch this evening! As a former St. Andrews rugby player and a founding member of the 7′s Rugby Tournament, it seemed he was hit with a lot of fond memories being out there today.
My last memory of Lower College Hall was sitting 5 exams in a row….this was a much better experience. Had a wonderful time addressing incredibly intelligent questions that came from the floor. As voting begins in less than 12 hrs, I hope I got my point across: I am a representative for you, the student body. I will empower you, fund you and build you up in every way I can.
It would be the greatest privilege of my life to represent you.
A very full Tuesday ahead–lecture shouts this morning, more couch lounging outside the library from 2-4 PM today, McIntosh heckling at 5:20 PM, official rectorial debate at 7:30 PM tonight…
And just received an endorsement from former Prime Minister Gordon Brown!
A big thanks to everyone who came to the Rule tonight–it was wonderful to chat to so many new faces. And an even bigger thank you to The Alley Cats and Mimi and The Fez for performing-both performances were bit hits.
The new renovations to the library look great (much better than when I was here)…but decided to lounge outside today. Come find us at the library, sit down (quite literally) and chat. Hard to miss the white couch!
